About Us

Orange Handle™ is a decaf-first coffee company rooted in the tradition of good, comforting diner coffee - specifically decaf coffee - poured from the pots with the orange handles. As our dad was a lifelong decaf drinker, those orange handles became tied to countless warm memories of family road trips and the early morning breakfast stops at mom and pop diners and the ‘just off the highway’ restaurants. We chose this name as a tribute to that history—and as a statement. Decaf deserves more attention, more intention, and a lot more love.

Whether you’re cutting back, skipping caffeine altogether, or just want something you can sip all day, you deserve a cup that’s  full-flavored, reliable,  and served just the way you like it. From full decaf to half caff, light roasts to dark, we’ve got something for every kind of pour. We start with quality beans and clean, thoughtful decaffeination processes to keep the flavor honest and the feeling familiar. FAQs

  • We strive to ship all orders within 1–3 business days (time varies during holidays). Once your order is processed, you'll receive a tracking number so you can monitor its journey to you. If there are any unexpected delays, we'll notify you right away.
  • An order cannot be modified or cancelled once it has been placed. If you are experiencing any issue please reach out to us at hello@orangehandlecoffee.com and we will do our best to assist you.
  • Shipping typically takes 3–7 business days, depending on your location. Orders within the U.S. generally arrive within this window, while international orders may take longer.
  • For all U.S. orders under $50, we charge a flat rate of $5.00. Orders of $50 or more ship free anywhere in the United States.
  • Currently, we only ship within the U.S. but plan to begin shipping internationally soon.
  • Because coffee is a perishable product, we cannot accept returns on any coffee once it has shipped. This policy helps us ensure that every bag we send out is fresh and high quality. If you have any issues with your coffee or errors in your order, please contact us at hello@orangehandlecoffee.com
  • You can log into your account at any time to update your subscription—change your delivery frequency, swap products, modify your payment method, skip a shipment, or cancel altogether. If you need assistance just reach out to us at hello@orangehandlecoffee.com and we’ll be happy to help.
  • We only use clean, natural methods: Swiss Water® Process (SWP), Mountain Water Process (MWP), and Sugarcane EA Decaf. These approaches rely on pure water, natural sugarcane byproducts, and time — never harsh chemicals — so your coffee keeps its full flavor, minus the caffeine.
  • While decaffeinated coffee has had most of the caffeine removed, it isn’t completely caffeine-free. On average, a cup of decaf contains about 2–5 mg of caffeine, compared to around 95 mg in a regular cup. It’s a great option if you want to reduce your caffeine intake while still enjoying the taste and ritual of coffee
  • Drinking decaf coffee offers several benefits, making it a great option for those who want to enjoy the taste of coffee without the effects of caffeine. Some of the key benefits include: 1. Better sleep – Enjoy a cup in the afternoon or evening without it disrupting your sleep; 2. Reduced anxiety or jitters – A great option for those sensitive to caffeine or looking to cut back; 3. Supports heart and liver health – Decaf is still rich in antioxidants, which have been linked to lower inflammation and better cardiovascular and liver function; 4. Gentler on digestion – Lower acidity and no caffeine means it’s easier on sensitive stomachs; 5. Hydration-friendly – Less diuretic effect than regular coffee, which can help with hydration.
  • We source our coffee beans from a variety of regions renowned for their high-quality coffee production, working closely with trusted green coffee importers. Our commitment is to prioritize beans that are not only flavorful but also ethically and sustainably grown, ensuring every cup is full of rich taste and story. We are passionate about sourcing our beans from farms that emphasize sustainable practices and fair trade principles. We partner with growers who are committed to quality and transparency.. This allows us to create a positive impact on the communities and environments that bring our coffee to life.
  • We work with a specialty roaster based just outside of Boston, MA. Their expertise and attention to detail ensure that each batch of coffee is roasted to perfection, bringing out the unique flavors of our carefully sourced beans. By partnering with a dedicated roaster, we’re able to offer the highest-quality coffee with every cup.
